We target a “gentlemanly & discriminating” fisherman. A fisherman
who typically travels with his wife, family, or closest friends
would find our services exactly suiting their needs. We provide
perfect vacations for husbands and wives, a few close friends, a
father/son trip of a lifetime, as well as a family vacation where
some members’ fish while others might prefer daytime jungle
ecology tours, and the kids are guided to a beach for surfing or
snorkeling. We do not cater to large groups boasting the loudest
or the drunkest clientele—let another agent book them and send
them anywhere else!

there, and liked it a lot! One bad experience (whether related to
lodging, food, personnel, or fishing) and it is “off of my list” –
forever.
These are places Millionaires’ hide for a week or two… one guy
stayed a full month !!
Everything must be right or I am furious. Everything means
everything. At the airport I want someone to meet me who speaks my
language, will find my bags, get them to the vehicle, walk me into
the hotel, make sure my room awaits me, and, oversee my check-in.
At the fishing lodge, the food has to be good and plentiful; the
drinks have to be plentiful and the bar well stocked. The boat
must be modern, clean, and completely working with back up radios
and engines to handle any unforeseen circumstances. The fishing
tackle must be up-to-date, there needs to be extra rods and reels,
with new line, and a broad selection of new or lucky old lures
suited to that particular day. The food on the boat must be fresh
and plentiful; and, the refreshments must be plentiful and well
iced. The captain must be extremely experienced with years of
intimacy on the waters you will fish. There needs to be another
half a dozen or so hot spots should the immediate conditions (time
of year, weather, or tides) call for it. All of this is included
and without “additional charges”. That is correct, the food,
refreshments, bait, lures are all inclusive!! Your bait should be
getting nibbled to death, not your wallet.
I have taken the risk out of your planning because I have fished
out of these lodges, on the water you are going to, with your
actual guides. Moreover, I have reinforced my experiences year
after year, every year in a row from 1996-2007. Do not depend on a
reference from Old Uncle Charlie about a place he heard about or
thinks he remembers.
All of these criteria must be met, or I am unhappy and never to
return. There is no second chance. Oh yeah, and I do not stand for
crowded fishing areas either. I want my slice of paradise, AND,
